SHIPPING OPTIONS NOT UPDATING WHEN BILLING_ADDRESS_1 CHANGES

Hi Sajib,
I bought the soup theme from you which has been great so far.
I’m experiencing a problem where the browser does not refresh when user enters address in billing_address_1. This means that my shipping options are not refreshed to reveal delivery cost. Once i click on something that triggers an ajax update, like “ship to a different address”, an update happens and that calculates the shipping costs.
(i) need a similar update once billing_address_1 changes.
(ii) as soon as the customer gets to the checkout screen, the trigger should fire again so that if their address had been cached on a previous visit, the delivery charge is immediately calculated.

I look to hearing from you very soon.

I have updated the SOUP theme lately. PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE THE THEME AS IT WOULD OVERWRITE VITAL CUSTOM CODE.

Hello samkwafo,

There is no such bugs in our theme. It’s working perfectly. I have tested with my local machine. You may have a look at the video, https://www.dropbox.com/s/yo7pw80nfusr8g9/my-machine.webm?dl=0
I have seen a console JS error on your website. I need to debug with deleting some plugins but I am not sure that if the website is live or not.

Also, I am not sure which part of the theme you have customized. There was a child theme to modify/redesign the theme so that It neve be lose if you update again. The issue may appear from the custom code ( not sure ).

The best way to debug the them with our update files. So before debugging, I will replace the updates files first and then try to debug.
